Puppies are all over

20LBS 

 and most are  taking after daddy!

This past week has been either steamy hot or raining

So puppies have been wet and muddy and

love playing in their  pool.

Harley is hot

and Ayla is back to being Ayla again.

 

I can't have her pregnant all the time and

this is most likely the last time,

but she is such a different dog when

she is not having  puppies.  Meisha

is fighting back,  the 3 puppies gang up on one or

Meisha and she doesn't like it all.

Its still a lot of fun just watching the whole

 family interact like they do. 6/16/09

 

 

 

 

 

Week  th was the week that  both Harley , Ayla and Meisha were getting after the puppies

the puppies just attack Ayla is rough she should have weaned them weeks ago

and so she has to get firm with 7 mouths filled with razor teeth coming at

her.  The puppies are just courious  about their daddy.  Harley just wants to be left alone in yard and all the puppies do is come up and bark and touch him.  He has issues about any of the puppies brushing up against him and all I do is laugh because he starts to grumble and then the puppies mimic him and you just have to laugh and one thing is you never laugh at an Alaskan Malamute, because they are very sensitive. Everybody is in their own room so Ayla, Harley and Meisha can get some sleep nowyea good night of sleep and they just crawl all over him.  I  don't think any of them have tried to bite him,

I know that they play rough with each other and Meisha, but they still

are in awe of  their BIG DADDY.      

 

week 6 was the week the puppies started on puppy started really Fighting with

each other.  Sometimes it gets so loud

I run downstairs just to see if any

of them are hurt.  Their  

little teeth really do hurt and they are like sumo wrestlers

Week 9 is  all out war!  No one on one but 2 or 3 on one, and it really gets loud and either I do or Meisha try and break it up.

 

 

 

 

As  you can see they work well as a team!

I was really leary about Ayla's

reaction to Meisha around the  new

 puppies but tonight all of us

were downstairs and I had a

puppy and Meisha was looking and

 sniffing them.

All the time myThat was earlier now she even

goes in the pen with them.

Outside this weekend the puppies were

a little scared but one of them started 

playing with Meisha and that was so cute

I told Meisha to get that puppy over here

 and she tried to pick them up with her

mouth, but they are so big now

 

 

 

      

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harley and Ayla hope to have the same interest in this litter as in the first one.  This Might be the only time to get one of Harleys puppies.  Check out the last litter to see how they are doing and also Meisha is their little girl so ENJOY!!!!

 

 

last night was the first night Ayla, Harley and Meisha slept in the same room with the puppies.  It really calmed Ayla down so I was surpised that she let Meisha so close to the puppies.  Meisha is just fasinated with the new litter and today one of the puppies tried to nurse off of Meisha.  Meisha didn't know what to do.  When the puppies start wimpering so does Meisha. It is really something to see, how this family is working as a family unit and not like a kennel where the mom and dad never see each other much less sleep in the same room as the new puppies.  But to let another female, Ayla's first litter puppy so close and let Meisha lick them and just try and figure them out it is quite amazing.

 The puppies are getting so big,and it hasn't even been a week yet.  At birth we had 3 puppies at 1lb and overToday monday 3/16/09I weigh them and all of them are a pound or more.I do believe that her last litter did not grow asfast as this one is. GIANT MALAMUTES takingaftet their dad. 
Meisha is now trying to nurse the puppies.  She is just so fansinated with her younger brothers and sisters and looks after them so well and they just crawl over her and now seeing how Ayla is nursing Meisha lays down just like that.  I think its almost time to put them on solid food so that will be good for Ayla        
 This is Ayla's first night with her puppies and she can't stop looking at them.  I have to drag her out so she can have a break. puppies are doing very well. I was so surpise of the size of them and they are growingfast. I already have sold some so if you want onyou will have to get in touch with me, more updates later.   Well it's Saturday, and I am having fun with thepuppies,  the first day they would makea noise like a little mouse and Ayla wanted them backNow when I pick them up  they just snuggle aroundmy neck and usually fall asleep. Now inbooks and talking with other people, the booksays that the mother doesn't want you around too much, well I go and sit with Ayla andthe puppies and it is something to seehow they bond and just do everything with only by smell. This morning Sat. 14thI let Ayla in from outside and we went intothe puppy room and all the puppies were in a pile and the when Ayla came, they all woke up and started their way to her and I was sitting there helping them. Its truly amazingI just might have to write a book this is something that a lot of people or even breeders have experienced .          



NOW A DAYS THINGS ARE TIGHT FOR EVERYBODY. SO I AM GOING TO A UNLIMITED AND LIMITED REGISTRATION.

THIS TIME HARLEY HAS 2 FEMALES TO DEAL WITH.  SINCE  THIS IS ONLY OUR SECOND TIME FOR THIS BREEDING AND SINCE THESE DOGS ARE PETS AND LIVE,  SLEEP. EAT AND EVERYTHING ELSE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY UNIT OR AS A PACK .  SINCE AWELL YLA  IS OVERLY PROTECTIVE  OF HARLEY AND VERY DOMINEERING WITH HER PUPPIES , I  HAD NO CLUE HOW LETTING MEISHA STAY WITH US WOULD EFFECT BOTH HARLEY AND AYLA.  I KEPT MEISHA AWAY FROM ALYA WHILE SHE WAS BREEDING WITH HARLEY BUT AS IN THE FIRST TIME EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON.  HARLEY IS MR STUD MACHINE.  I WENT OUT THERE ONE DAY TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS OK AND BOTH OF THEM WERE SITTING LOOKING AT ME AND I SWEAR THAT THEY WERE SMILING.  I DON;T KNOW , BUT  I KNOW IT WAS  A FUNNY LOOK.  SO AFTER GETTING THROUGH  AYLA'S BREEDING.  MEISHA HAS GONE INTO HEAT AGAIN.  WELL YOU WOULD THINK THE WAY HARLEY WAS GOING HE WOULD BE TOO TIRED AND NOT INTERESTED.  WRONG!!!!!  SO NOW I HAVE TO KEEP MEISHA AWAY FROM HARLEY AND I JUST REALLY WASN'T EXPECTING HER TO COME INTO HEAT THIS SOON.  BUT AYLA WAS REALLY UNHAPPY WITH HER AND THEN I FOUND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND NOW I THINK ITS TAKEN CARE OF.  SO MUCH IN THE LIFE OF HARLEY AND AYLA .  WELL

  10. The puppies are getting bigger everyday. This weekend they got to go outside for a little on Saturday.  Ayla is  back as her normal self and Meisha is have fun now that they are walking and can play with her.  I just put them to bed and came back in the room and Meisha was in their whelping pen.  Harley, now he is so funny with them, same way as the others.  I took 3 puppies to show to my grandchild and when I left everybody had to see who was in the tub and looking at me like they wanted to come along. Then when I came home I had to put the tub down so Ayla, Harley and Meisha see that all of them were in there and nothing was wrong.  I was  trying to get through. I  sort of felt like getting on a plane and having your luggage checked. Well its really nice to know that the family unit has expanded with the new puppies and there is no conflict with Ayla and Meisha. That was something I was concerned about but I am really so surprised at  the way Meisha has stepped up and she wants to feed them, she start whimpering when they do.  Meisha will make a wonderful mother, she is just such a loving dog and to watch all of this happening is so amazing to me each day.  So I will update soon and give more pictures and weights are tomorrow.
